Happy Birthday, Sweetie

16 September 2007

Dear Sweetie:

How time flies and seasons change so quickly.  As autumn approaches, the mornings are darker and the evenings are cooler.  Moose goes to bed earlier at night and sleeps later in the morning.  Part of that is getting older, for him and for us.

On this day, seven years ago, we were blessed with you, Sweetie. You would be in second grade and we would be on the go with all your activities.  We would all be so "BUSY." Yet, we would still have all the time for family, as we always did.

All the stories we would be sharing with you are now shared with you by prayer.  You are with us daily, we know that and feel that, but, oh we still miss you so much!

Your love for Teacher Lisa was priceless and unconditional.  Please keep watch over Teacher Lisa as she continues her battle.  God has given you the grace to help her, as an Angel, should she need it.  We know your love for her is absolute.

Both Grandma Jaak for Mommy and Grandpa for Daddy have us on our toes to help them and for you to watch over them.  Yet, as always, we continue to have time for family.

Grandma Jaak now has Mickey to take care of, and Grandpa is tending to his tomatoes.  Though Grandpa does not have cherry tomatoes, he has "BIG" tomatoes which we use for sandwiches.  Sweetie, if asked, Grandpa would have cherry tomatoes for you!  Your mouth was so full of cherry tomatoes that autumn day when you were playing with Moose.

Today is the football game between the Bengals and Browns at home.  We decided not to go the game today; instead, we will visit your garden spot in the city, Grandma Jaak in the hospital, and then have dinner at your favorite restaurant, Nuevo Acapulco, with Mark and Becky.

As always and every day, we will toast you, and especially today being your birthday, we will clink our glasses and say, "Cheers," and you will toast right along with us. You always enjoyed, "Cheers!"

We are truly blessed, Sweetie!

Love always, and forever and ever,

Mommy, Daddy, and Big Boy Moose
