Dear Sweetie:

What an exciting birthday weekend! All filled with lots of music - Blues and Jazz! You so enjoyed and loved your music! You loved going to Music School! You loved Teacher Lisa!

Your favorite music was Blues and Jazz, but, you also liked Elvis' Hound Dog, Mozart's Lullaby, and the standards we all sang, Old McDonald, ABCD's, 1-2-3's, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Bumble Bee Song. You truly have the beat and tone needed in understanding music!

We will be in the mountains celebrating your birthday today by listening to the Blues!

On Sunday, September 18, a New Orleans style Jazz ensemble will lead a procession from the Chapel, down to the Circle, at Riverside Cemetery, past our family garden spot in the city, for a Jazz Concert! You will be right in the center for all to see and remember. There will even be horse drawn carriage rides!

You had a lot of drums, which helped you "keep the beat."  You will be keeping beat with us all weekend with both the Blues and Jazz! We are truly blessed, Sweetie! You are a gift from God!

We know you were there to greet Moose, last year, as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Moose was your“ best buddy” not only on Earth, but, now in Heaven. One day we will be reunited with you and Big Boy Moose!
