Milano Monuments

In the design and creation of our family memorial, it was important for Olivia to rest at the right hand of her Father, Daddy.

Jesus ascended into Heaven, and, He is seated at the right hand of the Father.  “The right hand of God” means eternal happiness. It means inestimable, inexpressible beatitude.

We worked diligently with Jim Milano and staff of Milano Monuments to create the essence of our family desires and wishes. We are truly blessed with a beautiful black granite family memorial that has a lot of love and thought put into it.

The “wings” on each side envelop the Angel in the middle. The rounded curves soften the Angel and create the aura of Angel wings. As the song states, Olivia is “…the wind beneath our wings.”

Jim was ever so cordial and accommodating in helping us design and create this work of love. We were able to view the work as it progressed. We are ever so grateful to Jim and his staff in giving us the time we needed to create this monument.

On the day the memorial was complete, Sunday, November 9, 2003, we went to view it in the “shop” prior to delivery. Olivia let us know she was there with us, sharing in the enjoyment.

It is truly amazing. Olivia makes herself known all the time by constantly giving us the sunshine and rainbows.

Our family memorial was delivered on Tuesday, November 11, 2003, Armistice Day – how fitting – a day symbolic of peace, love, and joy for a peaceful little girl.
